NEW - Utah Forest Service Roads & Trails and Powder Mountain Ski Resort GPS Topo Maps -

Maps contain extensive federal, state, and local Shapefile datasets that have been converted to IMG format for use on your Garmin^® GPS receiver. Many features are custom symbolized for easy viewing on color and monochrome GPS displays.

What You Get
GPS IMG Map files, cooresponding Google Earth KML files, software to upload maps to GPS receiver, a registry file for loading maps into Garmin Mapsource, and easy to use instructions.

Forest Service MAPS	[2/15/09] The Utah Forest Service - Roads & Trails GPS Topo Maps are now available ! ! Research and navigate scenic mountain roads and hiking trails with confidence. Find thousands of secluded lakes, geographic features, and public/private land boundaries with accuracy. Try out the included Google Earth Version.

SKI MAP	[12/8/08] The Powder Mountain GPS Ski Map is now available ! ! Quickly navigate to untracked powder or find that hidden run that you had never been able to find before. The colored runs match the official trail map names and symbols.

MORE TOOLS	[11/14/08] See the Links & Tools page and try out the USGS 24k/100k topo maps that drape over google Earth for added spatial reference. Thanks to 3Dsolar ltd for compiling this really useful raster product.

COMPARE GPS's	[10/29/08] A new tool on our Links & Tools page lets you Compare the features of all handheld Garmin GPS units that have the ability to add custom maps. See which features are critical and useful for outdoor recreation activities. Does not include discontinued Units.

GETTING DIALED IN	[09/15/08] The Forest Service Maps are still being adjusted to make them easy to read, and fun to use. They are taking more time than I hoped to be available this year. The Powder Mountain map is still on schedule for this upcoming ski season, followed by the Forest Service Map next spring.

GPS MAPS ARE BUILT	[07/21/08] The Forest Service Roads and Ski Resort GPS maps have been built and are currently being tested and converted to Garmin format.
