These GPS basemaps are in IMG format and contain detailed geospatial data layers for use on Garmin GPS receivers.
Includes: GPS IMG basemap files, cooresponding Google Earth KML files, software to upload maps to GPS receiver, Mapsource compatibility (coming soon), and easy to use instructions.

GPS Parcel Planner

Through this service I will generate a GPS Route and travel itinerary for a set of user specified property parcels. This service includes a Garmin uploadable GPX file that includes any Routes, tracks, points, or specified property boundaries. I also provide a custom Google Map showing the GPX data, hardcopy maps, and instructions. Contact me for details.

USFS GPS MAPS	[2/15/09] Utah Forest Service Roads & Trails map layer has been converted into a GPS topo IMG basemap ! ! Research and navigate backcountry roads and hiking trails. Find thousands of NHD hydro features, geographic points, and public/private land boundaries on your GPS. Also includes a Google Earth Version for additional reference.

SKI MAP	[12/8/08] The Powder Mountain GPS Ski Map is now available ! ! Quickly navigate to untracked powder or find that hidden run that you had never been able to find before. The colored runs match the official trail map names and symbols.

MORE TOOLS	[11/14/08] See the Links & Tools page and try out the USGS 24k/100k topo maps that drape over google Earth for added spatial reference. Thanks to 3Dsolar ltd for compiling this really useful raster product.

COMPARE GPS's	[10/29/08] A new tool on our Links & Tools page lets you Compare the features of all handheld Garmin GPS units that have the ability to add custom maps. See which features are critical and useful for outdoor recreation activities. Does not include discontinued Units.

GETTING DIALED IN	[09/15/08] The Forest Service Maps are still being adjusted to make them easy to read, and fun to use. They are taking more time than I hoped to be available this year. The Powder Mountain map is still on schedule for this upcoming ski season, followed by the Forest Service Map next spring.

GPS MAPS ARE BUILT	[07/21/08] The Forest Service Roads and Ski Resort GPS maps have been built and are currently being tested and converted to Garmin format.
